Pregnancy and Programming and Later Risk of Obesity Related Disease

The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at University of Copenhagen is offering a PhD course on pregnancy and programming and later risk of obesity related disease at 6 February 2023. Enrollment deadline is 23 January.
The course will build on the understanding of the developmental origins of obesity and related diseases. It will provide a comprehensive overview of the latest developments with regard to mother-infant nutritional programming research and offer advice on prevention diagnosis and management of early nutrition and adult diseases. In addition, it will enhance the understanding of the complex interactions between nutrient, genetics and biological factors during pregnancy. The programme will thus permit attendees to improve their knowledge in this field with updated overviews.
Who can attend?
This course is free of charge for PhD students at Danish universities (except Copenhagen Business School), and for PhD Students from NorDoc member universities.
Anyone can apply for the course, but if you are not a PhD student at a Danish university, you will be placed on the waiting list until enrollment deadline. This also applies to PhD students from NorDoc member universities. After the enrollment deadline, available seats will be allocated to applicants on the waiting list.
