Lecture on Obesity Management by Novo Nordisk Foundation Science Cluster

The Novo Nordisk Foundation Science Cluster have an upcoming event on Obesity Management in 2023 on 2 March.

Obesity has reached catastrophic proportions globally, with over a billion people suffering from the condition, which not only affects physical health but also mental well-being and quality of life. Despite numerous public health initiatives and weight-loss programs, the problem only seems to be worsening, with a high rate of long-term failure.

In the lecture, the latest research and advancements in obesity management and the role of technology, nutrition, and physical activity in promoting healthy weight will be explored. The speakers will delve into the various strategies and approaches to weight management and examine the challenges and barriers that individuals face in their weight loss journey. Furthermore, the innovative solutions provided by the Lighthouse Life Science Healthy Weight project and their efforts to address these challenges and help individuals achieve their weight loss goals will be examined.
